As part of bringing alternative energy solutions to the region, Helind Enerji installed a new solar power system at the school in Zabukh village, Lachin district. The project used 38 solar panels rated at 550 W to build an on-grid system with a total capacity of 20 kW.
The project will cover the school's daily electricity demand and at the same time help build a culture of alternative energy in the region.
Technical specifications:
- Number of panels: 38
- Power of each panel: 550 W
- Total system power: ~20.9 kW
- System type: On-grid (grid-connected system)
How does an on-grid system work?
During the day, the system in Zabukh sends the energy it collects from the sun directly into the school's electrical system. Surplus energy is exported to the national grid. At night or on cloudy days, the system automatically switches to drawing power from the grid, which provides a continuous and flexible energy supply.

Social and environmental significance
Zabukh village is located in the territories liberated from occupation, and projects like this have not only technological but also symbolic value there. Bringing alternative energy systems to these territories marks the start of sustainable development, energy independence and a green future.
As a result of this project, about 17–18 tons of carbon dioxide emissions will be avoided each year, which equals the annual environmental effect of more than 700 trees.
At Helind Enerji, we do more than install systems: we bring the energy of the future to the regions. The system we built for the Zabukh school is a first step towards a brighter and cleaner future for its students.
