In the city of Lachin, Helind Enerji brought a modern and sustainable approach to the energy supply of private homes. As part of the project, 3 kW on-grid solar power systems were successfully installed in several homes. The number of solar panels per home ranges from 10 to 18, depending on technical factors such as the home's location, roof area and sun exposure.

Technical specifications

  • System power (per home): 3 kW
  • Number of panels: 10–18
  • Panel power: 550 W
  • System type: On-grid, integrated with the electricity grid

During the day, these systems collect energy from the sun and feed it directly into the home's electrical system. Unused surplus energy goes back to the grid and is balanced against later consumption.

Energy generation potential (approximate)

  • Daily generation: 10–11.5 kWh
  • Monthly generation: 300–350 kWh
  • Annual generation: 3,800–4,200 kWh

This amount of energy easily covers the daily electricity needs of an ordinary household, powering the fridge, lighting, computer, TV, electric kettle and other home appliances.

Environmental and social benefits

Each 3 kW home system avoids about 3 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. That is the annual carbon absorption of 120 trees. Equipping several homes in Lachin with these systems helps spread environmental awareness and the shift to alternative energy in the region.

The project also increases the energy independence of local families and reduces their dependence on electricity bills. Solar energy is the key to a cleaner and more affordable future.
