Rebuilding the territories liberated from occupation and turning Karabakh into a "green energy" zone is one of our state's main priorities. Within this framework, commissioned by the Baku Improvement Service (Bakı Abadlıq Xidməti), advanced solar solutions were used to supply hot water to new private homes built in the city of Aghdam. At Helind Enerji, we are proud to contribute to this historic process with our professional engineering and world-class equipment.

📊 Project summary

  • Client: Baku Improvement Service (Bakı Abadlıq Xidməti)
  • Location: Aghdam city
  • Equipment brand: Chromagen (Israel, premium segment)
  • System type: flat-plate solar water heater
  • Capacity: 200 liters per home (closed loop)
  • Project scale: 10 private homes (2 tons of hot water storage in total)

🎯 Project goal and chosen solution

When building homes in Aghdam that meet modern standards, one of the main goals was to give residents uninterrupted, environmentally clean and cost-effective utilities.

For each home, 200-liter flat-plate solar collectors from the globally known Chromagen were chosen. Why flat-plate collectors? Because these systems blend perfectly with the roof architecture, create no visual clutter and, thanks to Israeli technology, offer maximum resistance to extreme weather (hard frosts and hail).

📈 Advantages of the installed system

With the system in operation, these 10 homes in Aghdam gained the following benefits:

  1. Full independence: the 200-liter tank fully covers a standard family's (4–5 people) daily hot water needs for household use and showers.
  2. Savings on gas and electricity: for most of the year, hot water comes entirely from solar energy, sharply cutting residents' monthly utility bills.
  3. Closed-loop safety: the installed systems run on a closed loop with special antifreeze. This prevents pipes from freezing and bursting in frosty winter months.
  4. A sustainable future: each system reduces the use of traditional energy sources and directly helps keep the region environmentally clean.
