This project by Helind Enerji was designed for the Bursa Residence complex around the principles of smart energy management and environmental sustainability. As part of the project, 60 high-efficiency 585 W half-cell solar panels were installed on the roof, bringing the total system power to 35 kW.
This solar power system runs on an on-grid model: the energy produced goes directly into the building's internal electrical network, and the surplus can be exported to the national grid. Producing about 84,000 kWh of energy a year, the system significantly cuts the complex's shared utility costs, such as elevators, stairwell lighting, security systems and electricity for other common areas.
System features and technological advantages
- 60 monocrystalline 585 W half-cell panels – lower shading losses and high performance
- 35 kW on-grid system – feeds energy directly into the grid
- Smart inverter – manages energy conversion with maximum efficiency
- Real-time monitoring platform – residents can see the energy produced and the savings instantly
- Monthly generation: ~7,000 kWh
- Annual generation: ~84,000 kWh
Environmental impact
- 46.2 kg of carbon emissions avoided every year
- A contribution of clean and quiet energy to the environment
- Sustainable urban development and environmental responsibility through the green energy transition
Benefits for residents
- Lower electricity bills – significant savings on the building's shared energy costs
- Extra energy income – surplus energy can be exported to the grid
- Climate-suited performance – high output in sunny weather
This 35 kW solar power system for Bursa Residence, with innovative half-cell technology, smart monitoring and a low carbon footprint, is an excellent solution both economically and environmentally. The project can serve as a sustainable, future-oriented energy model for modern residential complexes.
