In this project, carried out by Helind Enerji in the Novkhani settlement, an 18 kW solar power system made up of 32 solar panels rated at 455 W was installed. The main goal of the project is to cover daily electricity demand with solar energy and keep energy costs to a minimum.
The system is built on on-grid technology: the energy produced during the day goes straight to the building's needs. Surplus energy can be exported to the grid, which creates additional savings.

This amount of energy covers most of the building's electricity needs and gives the owner savings of 50–70% on annual energy costs.
Environmental benefit:
Thanks to this system, about 16 tons of carbon dioxide emissions are avoided every year. That equals the annual carbon absorption of about 640 trees.
