This solar energy project by Helind Enerji was carried out at the SmartDom Residence complex to reduce the building's shared utility costs. As part of the project, 44 high-efficiency 585 W half-cell solar panels were installed on the roof, and the system was designed to run on an on-grid (grid-connected) model.
The total power of the installed system is about 25.74 kW. This capacity plays an important role in covering the complex's shared electricity costs: elevators, stairwell lighting, security cameras, fire systems and other common areas.
Thanks to on-grid technology, the system feeds the energy it produces directly into the building's electrical network. If production exceeds demand, the energy can be exported to the national grid, creating additional value. This approach is highly effective for both sustainable energy generation and cost optimization.
Key advantages of the system include an energy monitoring system, heat-resistant protective structures, AC/DC protection equipment and reliable inverter technology. These components increase energy efficiency and ensure long, safe operation.
The SmartDom Residence project is an important example of smart energy management and green technology in an urban setting. As a result, residents become part of an environmentally responsible building and benefit from a low-cost and reliable energy supply.
