Helind Energy has successfully implemented a 0.27 MW solar energy project in Beylik Village, Lachin District, designed to power 91 residential homes with clean and renewable energy. Each home is equipped with a 3.3 kW on-grid solar system consisting of six 550 W monocrystalline solar panels and grid-connected inverters.
The main goal of this project is to ensure the village’s energy independence, reduce electricity costs, and provide environmentally friendly and sustainable power for daily needs.
Reduced electricity expenses: Each household saves approximately 50–60 AZN per month.
Total annual savings: Around 55,000 AZN across all 91 homes.
Return on investment: The system pays for itself within 4–5 years.
Grid integration: Excess energy is transferred directly to the national power grid for optimal use.
These results make the Beylik Village Solar Energy Project a highly efficient and economically viable renewable energy model.
Reduced carbon emissions: The project prevents approximately 390 tons of CO₂ emissions annually.
Transition to green technologies: Reduces dependence on traditional energy sources.
Environmental awareness: Promotes sustainability and eco-consciousness among the local population.
The installed systems include the following components:
6 × 550 W solar panels (total of 3.3 kW per home)
On-grid inverters
AC/DC protection equipment
Energy monitoring and tracking systems
Cables and structural mounting systems
These components ensure safe, stable, and real-time monitored energy production and usage.
The Helind Energy Beylik Village Solar Energy Project represents more than just an energy solution. It is a major step toward energy independence, technological modernization, and rural development. The project supports sustainable growth in agriculture and household energy use, serving as a model for similar renewable energy initiatives across Azerbaijan.
1. Do these systems include batteries?
No, these are on-grid systems. Excess energy is transferred to the national grid.
2. Does energy production decrease in winter?
Yes, production drops slightly due to fewer sunlight hours, but the system still meets annual performance standards.
3. Can batteries be added in the future?
Yes, since the system is modular, batteries and additional panels can be added later if needed.
4. What happens during power outages?
As the system is on-grid, electricity is supplied automatically from the grid when needed.
5. Do the panels come with a warranty?
Yes, all panels include a 30-year performance warranty.
6. How long does installation take?
On average, installation for each home is completed within one day.
The 0.27 MW Beylik Village Solar Energy Project by Helind Energy plays a key role in advancing Azerbaijan’s green energy transition, strengthening energy security, and promoting environmental sustainability. This initiative not only enhances local living standards but also serves as a practical example of how renewable energy can drive rural modernization and long-term resilience.
